About the Journal

MPER: Multidisciplinary Approaches in Education and Rehabilitation, proudly published by the Association of Special Educators STOL, has been a cornerstone in the field of special education and rehabilitation since its inception in 2019. MPER is a biannual, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing knowledge and practice in special education, rehabilitation, and related fields.

Aims

MPER aims to:

  • Advance research and practice in the fields of special education and rehabilitation, and related sciences.

  • Promote new research on teaching methods and supports to children with developmental disabilities.  

  • Foster and encourage interdisciplinary collaboration among professionals in education, psychology, pedagogy, social work, medicine, and other related sciences.

  • Provide a platform for the dissemination of high-quality, peer-reviewed research without the burden of author fees.

MPER focuses on:

  • Publishing research that pushes the boundaries of theory and practice in special education, psychology, pedagogy, social work, medicine, and related disciplines.
